Zach's BIG fish

Zach was invited to his friend, Alex's cabin for the weekend in Wisconsin. He had a ton of fun and spent a lot of his time fishing!

Here is a picture of the big fish he caught!

He also went water skiing and was happy with himself that he was able to get up on the skis! (He's never water skied before!) Good Job Zach!

Today, marks our 8 year wedding anniversary! We had a HOT date to celebrate our anniversary – starting out with watching Zach play baseball! They had a game against St. Francis and it really was HOT HOT HOT!!!

 After being out in the heat for the past few hours watching a baseball game, we stopped at a little dive bar in East Bethel for dinner, called Route 65 Pub & Grub. It was quite the romantic evening! No air conditioning in the bar (if they had air conditioning, it wasn’t working very well!) So they had BIG fans blowing the warm air around.

The waitress heard that it was our anniversary, so she brought us some table decorations to make the event more festive! J Here is a picture that captures our anniversary dinner!

Did I mention that there were record heats in Minnesota this day?!?!

Cast off!!!

Today is the day! Today I got my cast off - after 9 long weeks! Horray! Now - I get to go to Physical Therapy, 2 times a week for the next 6 weeks and then back to the doctor in 6 weeks to check on the progress of my healing!

Anyways - here are some photos of all the wonderful casts that I donned over the past 9 weeks!

So here it is... after 9 lllooonnnngggg weeks in a cast....It felt so nice to wash my arm! But is sure looks skinny! And where did that GROSS LONG BLACK HAIR come from???? EEK!

of course I had to Bling up my wrist brace too!

I go back in 6 weeks for a follow up appointment and another X-ray to see how things are healing!
