Pinterest Anyone?

So, a good friend of mine recently got me addicted to this new phenomenon called "Pinterest"! I like it mostly for all the fun craft projects that are pictured. (And the cute outfit ideas, hair ideas, make up ideas... you get my point...)

I attempted to make a bracelet that was pictured on Pinterest but I needed to stock up on supplies (like yarn and crochet hooks - since I didn’t know what happened to mine).

This is how the bracelet turned out! Super cute - so I decided to make one for the girls on my team! J If you'd like one of these bracelets, write a comment in the comment section with the color you want, and I will personally craft one for you! J

Here are the colors to choose from at this time: Fuchsia, Natural, Brown, Turquoise. Also, indicate if you’d like a silver or gold-ish button too!

wanna play?

Sophie is always bringing us her favorite toys to throw for her. She could play for hours and hours. Sometimes she even gets you to chase her around the house.

Here are a couple pics Shane snapped when she brought him her green 'lightbulb' toy and demanded some of his attention!

World's Toughest Rodeo

Monica got free tickets to the World's Toughest Rodeo at the Xcel in St. Paul so she invited both me and Sheila Zepeda to join her. I think that all three of us were a little reluctant about going, not really knowing what to expect. But we figured - free tickets - might as well check it out!

So Saturday night, Monica, Sheila Zepeda and I got dressed up in our Rodeo-goin outfits and headed out!

Our seats were on the 'club' level, which was almost in the nosebleed section.
Here is a view of the action from our seats.

After a little while, we decided to walk down to the lower level and try to find some seats that were closer.
We ended up in the first row!
Here are a couple pics from our new seats! You could actually smell the rodeo from these new seats! (Some nice young gentlemen offered to take our picture for us!)

After the rodeo ended, Justin Moore was performing in concert! The girl behind us told us how she scored some "Dirt Passes" for the concert. Well, apparently you can only win the dirt passes.
(A 'dirt pass' is where you get to go on to the 'dirt' in front of the stage during the concert.)

We were pleased with the front row seats that we were in, and felt that we could see the stage just fine from where we were. Then all of a sudden, the usher that was letting people onto the 'dirt' with their 'dirt passes', signaled to us and told us to "hurry up", and ushered the three of us right on to the dirt! We quickly made our way up to the stage and got as close as we could for the concert!

This picture was taken from above our heads in the crowd on the 'dirt'!

We had so much fun dancing and singing along! Who knew the rodeo would be such a blast?!
